On November 13th Baker Tilly Ukraine will hold a seminar for insurance companies “First-time Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards”.
On the seminar representatives from different national companies will have a chance to get to know more about the First-time adoption of IFRS for insurance companies.
Seminar will take place in connection with changes made into the Law of Ukraine “On National Programme on Approximation of the Ukrainian Legislation to the Legislation of the European Union” of 18 March 2004 which is the the order of Cabinet of Ministers of 24 October 2007 ¹911 “On Adoption of Strategy of Application of The International Financial Reporting Standards in Ukraine”.

Business seminar “Strategic cooperation: Cyprus – Ukraine”, organized by Baker Tilly Ukraine and Baker Tilly Klitou (Cyprus), will take place in Hyatt Regency Kyiv on October 2, 2008.

Chamber Amateur Photo Exhibition

American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (AmCham) and Baker Tilly Ukraine are pleased to announce a very successful and fun Silver Card event, entitled Chamber Amateur Photo Exhibition, which will take place in “Hlebnia” Gallery, 24 Vladimirska St on February 14th, 2008.
Last year contestants from 84 companies with 368 beautiful pictures participated in the competition. 50 of them were selected to be included on the list of finalists and were exhibited during the Silver Card event, where all guests voted for the best. And finally, 3 won the main prizes!
Chamber Members will have an opportunity to Network while sipping cold drinks and nibbling on finger-food while discussing the artwork of their colleagues. Each attendee also will be honored with an opportunity to select the final winners by voting for their favorite photographs.
A special Exhibition of the best photos will be held for 5 DAYS in a Kyiv art gallery immediately following the identification of the winners.
